Love 和 Joy Come to You: Christmas with Nebraska Wesleyan

Celebrate Christmas with Wesleyan, 和 raise your voice in carols sung with the University Choir, 爵士合唱, Chamber Singers 和 Unity Choir. The Omaha Skutt Catholic High School Chamber Choir will join the NWU students in singing uplifting music that speaks to the heart of the holiday season.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir 和 爵士合唱 spread a message of love, 勇气, 弹性, 和 hope with communities in Iowa 和 eastern Nebraska, offering an expansive 和 expressive program of music from many cultures 和 eras. Featured composers include Johann Sebastian Bach, 帕维尔Chesnokov, 丽娜提出, 品牌加勒特, 摩西霍根, 罗伯特·雷.

NWU Honors Choir Festival Concert

Saturday, February 7 at 7 p.m.
O’Donnell Auditorium, Vance D. Rogers Center for Fine Arts

Tickets must be purchased at the door for this event.

Nearly one hundred of Nebraska's finest high school musicians gather on campus to sing with guest composer/conductor Kyle Pederson 和 NWU's own Tom Trenney. Omaha Central High School's A Cappella Choir will be featured in the performance as well. 

I Believe: Celebrating 音乐 of Black Composers

Sunday, February 23 at 7 p.m. 
First-Plymouth Church, 2000 D Street,林肯

NWU's University Choir joins the Plymouth Choir 和 St. Paul's Choir in a program conducted by Anton Armstrong, conductor of the renowned St. 奥拉夫合唱团. Repertoire includes Robert Ray's 福音的质量 和 the Nebraska premiere of Margaret Bonds' 信条. Donations will be received to benefit Bridges to Hope.

NWU的Big Sing!

More than 300 singers offer a vibrant 和 colorful program of choral music. NWU's four choirs will be joined by vocal ensembles from Lincoln's St和ing Bear High School, Bennington High School, 和 Iowa's Shen和oah High School.

莫扎特的 安魂曲

Sunday, May 4 at 7 p.m. 
First-Plymouth Church, 2000 D Street,林肯

In anticipation of their performance at the Church of Sts. Simon Jude in Prague, the Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir will sing Wolfgang Amadeus 莫扎特的 iconic 安魂曲 with singers from First-Plymouth Church 和 Hastings College 和 a chamber orchestra. Donations will be received to benefit Community Crops.
